April 30, will be Church of the Savior's first Go Sunday! Everyone will meet at church at 9:30 a.m. and spend about 20 minutes gathered in worship and prayer. Following the service, participants will head into the community to serve others. Please read through and consider signing up for one of the service options that would work best for you. Habitat for Humanity: Work will be done on the outside of a new Habitat home. Please dress for the weather and wear boots. Details about specifics for the work site will come within a week of the project. Next Chapter Ministries: Spring cleaning will be done in the Fellowship Home. Cleaning bathrooms, floors, the oven and organizing the storage area are just a few of the activities that will be taking place at the home. Please bring rubber gloves, and any cleaning supplies (including a vacuum) you would be willing to use while there. The activities and skill levels vary. Children ages 5 and up are welcome to attend this event. Camp Victory: Work will be done to help prepare the grounds for their spring open house. The activities will include planting some planters, walking the frisbee golf course and picking up trash (similar to Litter Bit Better), and painting some sign posts around the campus. This activity will be outdoors so please dress accordingly. This is a family friendly event, children of all ages are welcome.
